When we work to solve conflicts, the best place to start is with ourselves. The best advice we give is given to ourselves, not to others. If we tend to prefer to give advice to others rather than ourselves, we may develop a tendency to focus on others’ deficiencies, while remaining blind to our own. We may even start to hide our faults from ourselves and from others. Then we will not notice where we need to improve until someone else comes along and forces us to look at our own flaws.
Wishing you peace and well-being as you begin to identify and cultivate your own inner qualities.
