As a verb, balance is defined as: “to keep or put (something) in a steady position so that it does not fall”. As a noun, balance is defined as: “an even distribution of weight enabling someone or something to remain upright and steady.”

Everyone has a different equation for finding their balance. Let’s call it the equation to filling your “life tank”. If the life tank is full at 100%, then you have to figure out what percentage of each of the things in life that make you tick get allocated.  Planning is essential to the process of finding balance.  You have to hold yourself accountable to the things that you plan out before life tries to get in the way. (Cate Brinch, Sweet Soul: A Balanced Life)

Highly successful people measure themselves on seven key elements, Health, Family, Social, Financial, Business, Civic and Spiritual. They try to maintain a balance between these elements to live a healthy and fulfilling life.

Wishing you peace and wellbeing as you examine and find balance in your life.
