Your voice is needed to reform housing and supportive services for people with disabilities and for older adults

Minnesota’s Department of Human Services (DHS) wants your help to look specifically at opportunities in Group Residential Housing (GRH) and Minnesota Supplemental Aid (MSA) Housing Assistance to meet the goals of the State’s Olmstead Plan and Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness. DHS aims to increase housing options, expand opportunities for people to receive services in the community, improve work incentives, simplify program requirements and enhance quality assurance.

DHS wants input from: People with disabilities (including mental illness and chemical dependency) and older adults needing housing assistance and/or services, and the agencies, counties and advocates supporting them.

When/Where: DHS is having 6 state wide meetings, please pick the one that is best for you and RSVP with your name, location and time to kathie.vida@csh.org.
