Empowerment is the process of enhancing the capacity of individuals or groups to make choices and to transform those choices into desired actions and outcomes.

When people learn to be empowered, they change their belief system.  The come to understand the connection between their belief system, their thoughts, their feelings, their behaviors – and the consequences that will affect their life, for better or worse.

Our beliefs about life influence our thoughts about a particular situation.  The way we think about a situation generates certain feelings.  Those feelings in turn influence how we behave, and our behavior changes the ultimate outcome of the situation – the consequences.  Those consequences influence our belief system.  And the cycle begins again.

Freedom Resource Center has built empowerment into our Living Well series which begins October 8.  If you are interested in learning more about Living Well and/or to register for Living Well 101: Independence, contact Wanda at 701-450-0459 (Fargo-Moorhead can call 478-0459).
